It is sometimes necessary or desirable to strengthen structures due to deformity or instability. Axis has been at the forefront of the design and installation of anchor systems in many types of structures.
Cementitious, Socked Anchors
Anchors up to 13.5m long have been installed within brickwork, stone and various fill materials. Generally, diamond cored holes are drilled along walls, across cracks or junctions. Into these holes are installed stainless steel anchors that are then injected with grout under pressure to form a rigid tie. The main advantage is that they are undetectable, quite unobtrusive, cost efficient and extremely effective.
